　　由低处往高处输送电缆的方法是将电缆输送机放在低处的某一适当位置，先把电缆盘上的外层端头拉到下终端位置，就位后制作好下终端，这是一种轻而易举的事情。然后把盘上的剩余电缆全部拉出来，牵引电缆的另一端，沿电缆线路路径向高一端敷设。这种方法不便于采用排油敷设，因为在牵引向上的电缆端部很难接上真空泵或充气设备进行敷设。由于电缆的重量大，向上牵引要比采用制动闸从高处向低处遛放困难些。同时，这种方法往往受场地的限制，电缆不能太长，敷设落差不能太高。因此，这种敷设方法可以采用，但有局限性。
